INGREDIENTS
– 1 can (12 oz / 355 ml) beer of your choice (lager or ale works best)
– 2 cups self-rising flour
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lightly grease the slow cooker insert with butter or cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and beer. Stir until just combined; the dough will be sticky.
3. Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
4. Cover with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Carefully remove the bread and let it cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
